Sanyo 3810
A low priced phone from a quality manufacturer Sanyo - has
class, has the basics and it includes
Bluetooth and even a camera! Two color
choices: red and black. This is a great phone for
people who just want a great phone that talks and listens well
and does not confuse. Big letters for dialing, and loud
ring tone - make this phone great at the basics. |

Sanyo
2700
A low priced phone from Sanyo that has bluetooth and simple
camera as the above, but also adds a full a qwerty keyboard for
ease of texting. Two color choices: blue and pink. |
| |
|
 |
Sanyo Eclipse
The new Sanyo Eclipse that combines a fine phone with high speed
data (EVDO). This addition of high speed data would allow
you (with the right Sprint package) can do Sprint TV and also
navigation. A power phone. |

LG Rumor2
The Rumor - the forerunner of this Rumor2 at Sprint - began the
super texting phones for Sprint. With its full pull out
qwerty keyboard, this phone makes texting both easy and fun.
The LG Rumor was one of the most successful and copied phones of
all time. Note that this phone is great for talking and
texting, but does not have high speed data. It used 1xrtt
for data and not EVDO and hence this phone will not be fast for
data - and hence will not do TV or navigation well. But
for those who just want talk and text - not a bad phone at all
to consider. |
| |
|
 |
Samsung
Rant
First came the LG Rumor with the roll out full qwerty text.
Its good points were that it was great for texting.
However, it could do little else. Samsung then came out
with the rant that allowed high speed data (EVDO) and a better
camera. Now the Rant is a power phone, that with the right
Sprint plan can do TV or navigation as well. |
| |
|
 |
Samsung
Exclaim
Samsung has taken the Rant one better with the exclaim - which
combines the power of two previous Samsung phones - the rant
with a pull out full qwerty keyboard and also the previous
Samsung 520 which had a pull out number board for phone calls.
So, one can pull out the number pad for phone calls, or the full
keyboard for text. And it is a power phone, of course, as
the rant was with high speed data and a great camera.
Comes in three colors: blueberry, raspberry and white. |

Samsung
Reclaim
Full qwerty keyboard, 2.0 megapixel camera, stereo bluetooth.
In some ways this seems the Samsung version of the LG Lotus.
This phone is also for the ecology conscious, since $2 of the
sale goes to the The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre®
program. Comes in green and blue. |

Sanyo
Incognito
This is the latest and maybe the greatest of the qwerty keyboard
texting phones. First came the LG Rumor with a pull out
qwerty keyboard - followed at some point by the LG Rumor 2 with
similar specs, then the Samsung Rant which took that concept and
added high speed data and a better camera followed by the
Samsung Exclaim with that same high speed data and better
camera. But now, Sanyo comes along with a full qwerty
keyboard inside with a flip top cover - no pull out - with a top
that has a touch screen dial pad. One has to say hmm...
maybe this is the power with a simpler cover, so maybe more
reliable? And it is done by Sanyo with generally very good
radio telephone reception. |

 |
LG Lotus
There are phones - which are normally easy to use - and then
PDAs which give more capabilities like email and more but are
harder to use. At times there comes along a phone that
tries to bridge that gap giving some PDA features as email and a
full qwerty keyboard, but tries to keep phone calls simple.
Such is the full power LG Lotus. Comes in three colors -
black, red and purple. |

Sanyo
Pro 700
When is a Nextel phone not a Nextel? When it is a Sprint Q
chat phones. The Sanyo pro 700 has some of the famous
Nextel features of push to talk two way radio plus the
ruggedness of military specs. And it uses the Sprint
system which within the US states will have even more
possibility of phone reception. The thing to keep in mind
with this phone is that while it can call Mexico, taking the
phone into Mexico directly will not have good results.
Only Nextel phones themselves within Sprint make calls well
inside Mexico borders. |

Samsung
Instinct s30
The Sprint touch screen phone (along with the Palm Pre) that
answers the iphone popularity. A large screen combined
with touch capability combined with high speed data make this
both a powerful and hi-tech phone. This phone has a large
fan club. Also, however, check out the Palm Pre. |

Blackberry
Curve 8330
The very popular Blackberry business line of PDAs made by
Research in Motion (RIM) comes out with a so called "civilian"
model. A housebroken blackberry for those conscious
of style and small size. The Curve is incredibly popular
and is very high power yet low priced for new customers or two
year upgrades. For those who want to add the power of
email, easy texting, calendar and more business options to their
phone, this is a great way to go. Also includes camera.
Now this great selling PDA comes in three colors: black,
red and orange. I guess they call orange "inferno".

Blackberry
Tour
Blackberry had two popular phones - the Curve 8330 above mostly
for consumers and the 8830 the world phone that works not only
in the US but also Europe, and many places in Asia (but not
Japan). But the 8830 world phone had no camera. So, this is the phone that combines it all together - the
consumer greatness of the curve, the world phone abilities of
the 8830 and the new software to make it faster and more
powerful. Add a new and improved keyboard that is easier
on the fingers, and you have the new TOUR. |

Palm Pre
This phone is a great suggestion for those who want a power
phone. While the iphone turned a lot of heads, one might
ask, where did those inventors go who did the iphone on the
super slow one generation behind ATT system? The answer is
that they went to Palm and began work on a new phone even better
than the iphone but this time on a fast Sprint system - that was
3G long before ATT could even spell 3G. This phone in my
mind is simply smart. The biggest issue with touch screens
is the keyboard with small letters. Often when you might
press a "w" you can get a "d" or other letter since touch
screens have difficulty in precise small areas. This phone
is smart enough to have both a touch screen AND a keyboard,
eliminating that issue. It is also the wave of the future
since it works with google contact and calendar systems and not
the old Microsoft stuff (hope Bill Gates is not reading this).
Those who have been following the career of google know it to be
at the top of its game, and that is the system also that this
phone wants to synchronize with. If you are a phone
enthusiast, who wants hi tech from the best, this is one of the
phones you should consider. |

HTC Hero
Look out world, here comes the new android system from Google
that arrives on an HTC phone for a second generation touch
screen. Power plus a touch screen that has now
evolved into a more accurate touch screen. This phone has
power. In addition to power, it will have fun - it will
have applications. Consider that while iPhone claims many
applications - that iPhone is only made via one place - Apple.
So once again as in their computers, Apple does it again and
keeps their system locked up. Well android (owned by
Google) lets many companies use their system - as the PC did for
computers. Imagine how much software and applications will
be done for this android system - with products made by many
companies - HTC, Samsung, Motorola, and expect more as time goes
on. We can expect applications and fun galore. |

Samsung
Moment Yes, an android phone that of course
therefore is somewhat similar to the HTC hero above. The
Samsung Moment also has a pull out full qwerty keyboard for
those who want to text that still may not trust soft keyboards
on a touch screen. So then - how does this compare with
the HTC hero? It is a question of taste. This phone
has the keyboard and therefore we all know it will do texting
easily. On the other hand, the HTC Hero is perhaps half
the size and weight and has an overlay software program on its
android system that adds some features. Hard to choose
between the two - even for me. |

Novatel Wireless
/ Sierra Wireless Data Cards
Sprint is really a later generation digital than most other
carriers. It uses CDMA - a cellular technique that is
higher bandwidth than most other cellular companies. With
that some Sprint phones can do Sprint TV. What can it's
cards do for your laptop - high speed data. Higher speed
than you can get with carriers that do not have CDMA. The
data system is called EVDO. What it means is "fast data".
The card shown here is the Novatel Wireless S720 pcmcia card
that can slide into a laptop. We also carry the USB
version for greater utility, which can be made by either Novatel
Wireless or Sierra Wireless - two fine data companies. These
two companies pioneered cellular data in the US for laptops and
continue to bring innovation to this important field. Both
are fine companies. |

Novatel Mifi 200 This is an area Sprint
Wireless system that can be used for up to five computer users
at one time 9or simply 5 wi fi devices. So it combines the
ability to get high speed DSL speed data on the Sprint system
with that of a small router to allow multiple computer
connections easily. We know several people trying to
do this by buying multiple boxes. This is one simple box -
with power for 5 nearby people. |
